Upgrade Your Space with Bamboo Shades

Woven fibers and natural textures are the height of design right now. We’d love to show you our bamboo shades from the Provenance Woven Woods collection. These shades are getting some well-deserved recognition, as homeowners find themselves scrolling through home design inspiration, witnessing the eye-catching beauty of these window treatments.

Trendy to Timeless

It’s not a new look, but it’s definitely on-trend right now. The woven look at the window. It’s classic, charming and wonderfully stylish. But how have they evolved into a timeless statement? Over the years, you might have heard the term “matchstick blinds” as a nickname for woven woods. It’s the elements that are crafted and the colors available that have made these a staple in home design.

Uniquely Crafted

Many of us know them as “bamboo shades,” so it might surprise you to find out that the materials used to create the patterned woven textures you see can be grasses, woods, reeds and bamboo. Each collection of natural fibers offers a mix of materials, resulting in a beautiful, one-of-a-kind look.

Custom Liners

Liners for bamboo shades are optional, which means you don’t have to have any at all. The light-filtering abilities of woven fibers invites softened light into your home. But, for more control, you can customize the shades with an attached light-filtering or room darkening liners, depending on the function of the room or the intensity of the sunlight. Or, you can choose the dual shade option, where your bamboo shades operate independently of a secondary cellular shade which brings both light control and energy efficiency.

The Ease of Motorization

One of the benefits of window shades is the ease of adjustments. Open them for natural light and views, close them for light control and privacy. But, what happens when adjustments need to occur more often than you’d wish? You’ll probably stop adjusting them–especially if you have numerous windows in your room. It defeats the purpose of having adjustable coverings, and you won’t be enjoying your home like you should. This is where smart shades can be a no-brainer. Your motorized shades can adjust on a schedule, set a dynamic scene all at once, or go into motion with one tap–or even with a voice command. You can sit back and just enjoy your home–and your life.

Available in both horizontal and vertical orientation, you can enjoy the woven look for doors and windows. Speciality windows, like bay windows and angled windows look incredible with custom-fit bamboo shades. And then, there’s top down bottom up. This option gives clients the opportunity to invite sunlight in–across the ceiling–while protecting the interior and the privacy of their homes.
