Arch Windows

Arch windows are the most common types of specialty windows found in homes today. Arch windows add character to your home, but provide a challenge to control the light and privacy. Arches can come in many different sizes and go by many different names including stationary, extended, half circle, quarter circle, perfect, imperfect, eyebrow and Gothic. There are two types of custom arch window coverings: Stationary or Movable. The only shade that can be a movable arch is the Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb shade.

Angle Windows

Common in contemporary homes, angled windows bring up some unique challenges in providing privacy and light control and keeping your home energy efficient. Hunter Douglas has taken on these challenges, offering you a wide selection of products that help to enhance the beauty of your angled windows whether the shade is open or closed. Angled windows come in many variations including right triangles, isosceles triangles and top/bottom sloped windows with specific minimums and maximums for each brand.

Fixed Angle Shades

*These shades can be operated on any angle window where the shade is a square or rectangle below the arch. No arch window shade can be operable in the 'triangle' region. Please consult with us for further clarification.

Trapeziod Windows

Trapezoidal, or tapered side, windows come in many different configurations and angles. Trapezoid windows consist of four sides with only one pair of parallel sides. The most common custom window coverings for trapezoid windows are Duette and Applause honeycomb shades, Brilliance pleated shades or the Country Woods collection

Circle & Oval Windows

While unique window shapes such as circles and ovals, are not as common as other specialty shapes, we do have options for you to cover them! YOu can try a custom window shade (options are listed below) or you can even try a custom drapery treament! Call us for ou options with a drapery treatment.

Skylight Windows

Skylight windows are a great way to make a room brighter and more open. Skylight windows can also let too much light into your room and end up over heating your room. Thus, the best option to cover a skylight window is with a superior energy efficient shade. Duette and Applause skylight window coverings can either be operated manually or with a remote control.
